Port des Lumières, Hambourg

Culturespaces, in partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, will open a new digital art centre in Hamburg (Germany) in 2024. Port des Lumières, located in the new HafenCity district, will feature immersive exhibitions of masterpieces by artists such as Cezanne, Van Gogh, Klimt or Kandinsky. The works of art come to life in an imposing installation equipped with 60 speakers and more than 100 projectors that broadcast 3,000 moving images per second on a projection surface of 3,120 m². The system is based on a software suite specially designed to provide a fully immersive experience for visitors.
